The China Association for Science and Technology held the "China Youth Robot Contest" for the first time in 2001. STEM principles learning interdisciplinary ability to improve scientific quality. At the same time, encourage more young robot enthusiasts to learn, explore, research and practice, stimulate their interest in science and improve their scientific quality. Every summer, the Science and Technology Innovation Center leads the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region team to compete in China.

第9屆賽事的主題為「快樂成長」,希望青年在賽事中愉快學習,香港代表隊不負眾望,勇奪2金2銀11銅及1項專項獎的佳績,成功打破港隊的歷屆得獎紀錄,而路德會西門英才中學梁劍雄老師則獲得全國十優指導員,成為香港區第三位獲此榮譽的老師。

Event arrangement
The competition items of the China Youth Robot Competition shall be arranged according to the development of the robotics science and technology activities in primary and secondary schools in my country and the international youth robot competition. The more regular competitions include robot creativity competition, robot comprehensive skill competition, robot football competition, VEX and FLL robot engineering challenge, etc.
Participants and team formation
All primary and secondary school students (including technical secondary schools, secondary technical schools, secondary teachers, and secondary vocational schools) who are studying at school before the competition can participate in the competition activities held by each province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the central government), and all regions will select outstanding teams through provincial competitions to form provincial competition representatives Participate in national competitions. Each participating delegation is named after its province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government). Teams are organized in three groups: primary school, junior high school, and high school, and cross-groups are not allowed.
