Competition content

In order to popularize aerospace technology among young people, enhance the quality of Hong Kong youth in aerospace technology, and participate in a national exchange and growth platform, the Association will hold the first "Hong Kong Youth Aerospace Innovation Competition" in 2022.
In January 2022, the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association was entrusted by the China Aerospace Science and Technology International Exchange Center, the secretariat of the National Youth Space Innovation Competition Organizing Committee, to organize and hold the Hong Kong selection of the National Youth Space Innovation Competition. The Hong Kong competition is named "The First Hong Kong Youth Aerospace Innovation Competition". In addition, the organizer will select the best projects from the "Hong Kong Youth Space Innovation Competition" to form a "Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Team" to participate in the first "National Youth Space Innovation Competition" to be held in Beijing in July this year, and will hold the "National Youth Space Innovation Competition". Hong Kong Awards Ceremony of the Youth Aerospace Innovation Competition.
It is hoped that through this competition, Hong Kong students can understand and participate in aerospace technology events, cultivate outstanding talents in aerospace technology, serve my country's aerospace industry, and contribute to building an innovative country.
This competition has been applied as one of the series of activities of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, as a gift to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong to the motherland.

In order to popularize aerospace technology, improve the quality of aerospace technology among young people, cultivate reserve talents in aerospace technology for Hong Kong, serve my country's aerospace industry, contribute to building an innovative country and a "space power", and thereby deepen Hong Kong students' sense of belonging to the motherland, Cultivate patriotism. The Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association was entrusted by the secretariat of the Organizing Committee of the National Youth Space Innovation Competition - China Aerospace Science and Technology International Exchange Center to co-host the Hong Kong Division Selection of the "National Youth Space Innovation Competition". The Hong Kong competition is named "The First Hong Kong Youth Aerospace Innovation Competition". The Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association is responsible for selecting the best projects from local competitions to form the "Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Team" to participate in the first "National Youth Space Innovation Competition" held in August this year.

The "First Hong Kong Youth Space Innovation Competition" has four competitions, including: Moon Exploration Innovation Competition, Mars Home Theme Competition, Beidou Create a Better Life-Creativity Competition, Future Space Engineering Challenge, etc. Different categories such as high school. Registration for the competition was very active. The conference received a total of 130 entries from 55 primary and secondary schools (27 secondary schools and 28 primary schools). After the preliminary round, 76 outstanding projects were selected to participate in the final debate on June 25, resulting in the first, second and third prizes of each competition and each group. Many schools have actively participated in this competition, and the success of the competition is inseparable from their participation. In order to recognize the contribution of participating schools, the conference also set up an excellent organization award.

In order to recognize the outstanding contestants, the award ceremony of the "First Hong Kong Youth Aerospace Innovation Competition" was held on the afternoon of June 26 at the Xinhui Chamber of Commerce Chan Pak Sha Memorial Secondary School. Mr. Yu Miao, Director of China Aerospace Science and Technology International Exchange Center, Dr. Zhong Weiqiang, JP, Deputy Director of the Innovation and Technology Bureau of the SAR Government, Ms. Xie Wanzhen, Principal Assistant Secretary-General of the Education Bureau, and Academician Ye Jiaan, Chair Professor of the University of Hong Kong, were invited to officiate and present the award. Representatives of co-organizers – Mr. Li Weijun, Director of Hong Kong Space Museum, Dr. Jin Yao, Dean of Hong Kong Academy of Gifted Education, Dr. Cai Shizan, Chairman of Hong Kong Technology and Innovation Education Alliance, Principal of Xinhui Chamber of Commerce Chen Baisha Memorial Middle School, Yang Wende, etc.; representatives of sponsoring organizations – Mr. Yang Guojia, Lin Dr. Hao Yi, JP, Dr. Zhong Zhiping, GBS, JP, lawyer Zhou Shaorong, as well as principals, teachers and guests of participating schools, about 400 people will be invited to attend the ceremony. The scene was very lively.

At the award ceremony, the General Assembly is honored to invite Dr. Chung Wai Keung, JP, Deputy Secretary of the Innovation and Technology Bureau of the SAR Government to deliver a speech for us, and also invited Dr. Lui Xinrong to share the evaluation experience on behalf of the judges, and also invited the award-winning students to share the experience and feelings of the competition, for the ceremony Inject positive energy on site.
