Competition introduction
The "Song Ching Ling Children's Invention Award" is the only youth science and technology activity award approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology named after a national leader. The award was established in 2001 to further implement the national strategy of "rejuvenating the country through science and education and strengthening the country through talents", and to cultivate the innovative spirit, practical ability and scientific literacy of children. The competition actively advocates that invention works must conform to the characteristics of children's creation, be close to children's life and reality, and must reflect innocence and humanistic feelings. So far, it has been successfully held for 15 sessions, with more than 1 million primary and secondary school students participating, and has achieved good social response at home and abroad. The selection process of the Invention Award is based on the criteria of "novelty, creativity, practicability and participation" and the principle of "fairness, impartiality and openness", through four links: local screening, online application, online preliminary evaluation, and on-site exhibition evaluation. Make selections.
