International Sustainable World (Energy, Engineering & Environment) Project Olympiad (I-SWEEEP) is a sustainable development science research project contest jointly organised by the Cosmos Foundation (CF) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in the United States. Targeting contestants from secondary schools, the contest is held every May in Houston, Texas, the fourth largest city in the US, also known as the “Space City” and renowned for resource technologies. I-SWEEEP is of the highest level and the largest of its kind around the globe. With the mission to spark interest and awareness of global sustainability challenges, it encourages students to understand these issues in order to devise feasible solutions, in turn engaging the young and accelerating progress towards world sustainability.
