2016
“The Awarding Program for Future Scientists” is jointly organized by the Ministry of Education, H. S. Chau Foundation and the China Association of Science and Technology. It is identified as an activity which is beneficial for enhancing the personal development and scientific knowledge of participants, who are able to communicate and interact with students from over 30 regions within China. It can also allow participants from different regions to understand more about the development of our local science education. Winning students and organizations is entitled to money awards and certificates. Since 2000, our centre has been leading local delegations to take part in this activity with outstanding results achieved.

The 16th Awarding Program for Future Scientists was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education of China, China Association for Science and Technology and H.S. Chau Foundation of Hong Kong in Shanghai between 24th and 29nd October 2016. Tsang Sze-Ying from St. Paul’s Convent School (Secondary Section), led by our Science Innovation Centre, and entered the final judging session in Shanghai. After several rounds of questioning and debate, assessment of comprehensive quality and knowledge test, the students won the third prizes respectively, bringing honor to Hong Kong.
